Moon Panda, the enchanting dream pop duo, have just revealed details of their upcoming album, Sing Spaceship, Sing, set to be released on July 21st. The album is accompanied by the release of a new single, ‘Starfruit’, which can be streamed now.

The track boasts a dreamy and serene atmosphere, perfectly suited for the warm summer nights. Maddy Myers, the singer and bassist of the band, explains that the song is about self-reinvention and rebuilding the world around you. Sing Spaceship, Sing is inspired by the joyful feelings of human connection as the world emerged from the pandemic. The album is composed of 12 tracks, filled with experimental soundscapes, soft vocals, and gentle guitar strums, all tied together with laid-back drum beats.

Moon Panda’s recent single, ‘Tangerine Light’, received high praise from The Times, who describe it as “groovy synth-enhanced psychedelic pop.” The duo will be heading on a UK tour this October, including stops in Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, London, and Bristol. Tickets for the tour are available now.

Moon Panda’s previous release, Make Well, received critical acclaim for its relaxing vibes and groovy basslines. The band’s debut album, What On Earth, was also well-received, praised for its dreamy and otherworldly sound. Moon Panda is made up of Maddy Myers from California on vocals and bass and Gustav Moltke from Denmark on guitar. They signed with British label Fierce Panda for their second EP in 2020.
