Pop Scoop! chatted with breakout reggae/R&B/pop singer Melissa Steel right after her supa-dupa-fly set at Sundown Festival. She spoke about her recent summer festival circuit, supporting Ariana Grande’s UK tour with Krishane, how she started out in music, going to school with a certain Zayn Malik, and the Top 10 success of her debut single “Kisses for Breakfast” ft Popcaan.

Dropping on 18th September is follow-up single “You Love Me?”, an insanely catchy, endless-summer vibes anthem ft Wretch 32, produced by legendary uber-producer Rodney Jerkins aka Darkchild. Melissa gave us an exclusive insight into the adorable story behind the little girl voice sample on the track (“You love me, you love me, you know that you love me”).
