One Direction will go head-to-head with Harry Styles’ ex Taylor Swift at this year’s Kids’ Choice Awards as the pop stars are nominated in the Favourite Song category.

The boys are also up for Favourite Musical Group.

Harry, 19, told People magazine: “We are delighted with our nominations for the Kids’ Choice Awards. It was amazing to perform ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ at last year’s show. Thank you as always to our incredible fans and supporters!”

Other nominees in the Favourite Song category include Carly Rae Jepsen’s ‘Call Me Maybe’, and the viral sensation, ‘Gangnam Style’ by Korean star PSY.

One Direction will also face competition from Big Time Rush, Bon Jovi and Maroon 5 to earn the title of Favourite Musical Group.
