Fleur East releases charity single ‘Not Alone’ for The COVID-19 Appeal

Fleur East has released her song ‘Not Alone’, in aid of The NHS Covid-19 Appeal.

The track was initially written by Fleur as a rap for an exclusive performance on BBC ONE’s ‘The One Show’ encouraging viewers to stay at home amidst the Corona crisis.

‘Not Alone’ gained huge traction online post the show so Fleur has decided to write an additional verse and chorus, record the song and release it to raise funds for The Covid-19 Appeal, which helps to aid NHS workers and staff impacted by the virus.

‘The One Show’ premiered the new version of the song this evening, and the track is now available across all download and streaming platforms.

100 per cent of all proceeds will go to helping our amazing NHS.

Fleur says: “All the money that is raised from the streams and downloads will go directly to the NHS Covid-19 Appeal, so that goes directly to support all the NHS workers and volunteers who are working on the frontline. It’s probably the easiest shoot I’ve ever done in my life, just at home in my socks.”

The song was written by Fleur and produced by Edward Sokolowski, Lloyd Hinshelwood and Ryan Griffiths.

The response to the ‘stay at home’ rap has been incredible! I’ve decided to make a full version of it and release it, donating 100% of the profits to the @nhswebsite Covid 19 Appeal.
