David Guetta has smashed the 2 billion plays milestone on Spotify, making him only the third artist in Spotify history to do so following Eminem and Ed Sheeran. The achievement also makes him both the first EDM artist, and the first French artist, to reach 2 billion listens. David Guetta is currently the most-followed artist on Spotify with 6.8m followers, and boasts more than 15m fans listening on Spotify each month.
David Guetta said of the achievement: “I want to thank you so much for helping me reach this incredible milestone, 2 billion streams on Spotify! Wow, mind blowing!”
