Pop Scoop! sat down with Radio 1 DJ and BBC Introducing #MotherHen Huw Stephens for a pleasantly lilting, lightly humorous natter at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Norwich.

He gave us his impressions & musical highlights of the festival so far (Charli XCX, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Slaves, Muse), what it feels like supporting & shepherding acts from Introducing slots to the big time, and answered some of our Quick-Fire Biographical Trivia Questions. We learned all about Catatonia posters, Crowded House cassette tapes, the power of “The Shawshank Redemption”, and the classic London-to-Cardiff train ride!
