Hot on the heels of their recent UK top 5 hit ‘Love Runs Out’, OneRepublic have announced their follow-up single ‘I Lived’, set for release on November 9th.

The uplifting anthem follows the momentous chart success that includes the top 10 single ‘If I Lose Myself’ and the twice number one and near million selling smash ‘Counting Stars’, which feature on the re-release of their album, ‘Native’ that entered the UK album top 10 last month for the first time, a year after its initial release.

The track was written by OneRepublic frontman, and Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter and producer Ryan Tedder, who has also been busy crafting huge songs for the likes of Beyoncé (‘XO’), rock legends U2, Adele – for the follow up to her multi-platinum, critically acclaimed ‘21’, – and X-Factor 2012 finalist Ella Henderson, penning her chart topping debut single, ‘Ghost’.

Premiering on Vevo, the Noble Jones directed video for ‘I Lived’ tells the tale of courageous Bryan Warnecke, who has lived his entire life with cystic fibrosis, but refuses to let the illness hold him back. Excerpts in the clip capture him living his life to the fullest, embodying the spirit of the song. This year alone, he and his teammates have raised more than $300,000 by cycling 1,200 miles for Cystic Fibrosis Research.

OneRepublic are set to return to the UK next month as they embark on their biggest tour to date on this side of the pond. The band will headline dates at Liverpool’s Echo Arena and London’s O2 Arena on October 21st and 22nd respectively. With the continued success they’ve garnered this year, the band are sure to round off 2014 with a bang. Stay tuned…
