Madness, one of Britain’s most cherished bands, is set to grace the stage at Sandown Park Racecourse on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Fresh off the success of their first studio UK Official Charts No.1 album, “Theatre Of The Absurd Presents C’est La Vie,” Madness promises an unforgettable evening of music and nostalgia.

The band, led by the charismatic Suggs, will not only showcase tracks from their latest album but will also treat fans to a medley of their greatest hits spanning over four decades. Known for crafting songs that capture the essence of British life and finding poetry in the mundane, Madness has delivered chart-toppers like ‘Baggy Trousers’, ‘It Must Be Love’, ‘Driving In My Car’, ‘Our House’, and ‘House of Fun’.

Throughout their illustrious career, Madness has achieved one UK Official Charts No.1 album, secured 10 UK top ten albums, and landed an impressive 15 top ten singles. Their accolades include a prestigious Ivor Novello award, a performance atop Buckingham Palace as part of the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations, and setting a record for the BBC’s Live New Year’s Eve Broadcast in 2018 – the most-watched TV music event of the year.

Sarah Drabwell, General Manager of Sandown Park Racecourse, expressed her excitement, stating, “It’s been five years since Madness last took center stage at the racecourse, and we’re thrilled to welcome them back in July. A timeless headliner whose music resonates across generations, this will surely be a show not to be missed!”

Madness shared their enthusiasm for the upcoming tour, saying, “Our 2024 summer tour is going to be a true celebration, and we’re delighted to be returning to Sandown Park on the C’est La Vie tour! We’ll be playing a set filled with all our favorite tracks, plus a few from our new album – we can’t wait to see you all there!”
