Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Miguel has been nominated for his first Oscar for Best Original Song at the 90th Academy Awards for “Remember Me”.

“Remember Me” was written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, the team behind Frozen’s “Let It Go,” and serves as the lead track from Disney Pixar’s latest smash hit movie Coco.

Coco is also nominated for Best Animated Feature at the upcoming Academy Awards, taking place on March 4th.

The movie has already picked up over 30 awards, including Best Animated Feature Film at the Golden Globe Awards.
