Today Aussie/Brit singer-songwriter Emmi premiered her infectiously delicious pop track ‘Talk To Me’ on Clash.

After a whirlwind 2016, including an incredibly special role in ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them’ as a jazz singing goblin, Emmi is ready to show the world the girl behind the voice.
Winning MTV’s Brand New 2016 campaign in Australia/New Zealand – the UK equivalent of which had crowned Anne-Marie in the same year – it was clear she was beginning to build a real fanbase of her own. This was helped all the more when Taylor Swift named Emmi’s track ‘Sleep On It’ in a hand-written curated playlist ‘New songs that will make your life more awesome’.
In the UK, BBC Radio 1 have showed great support, selecting Emmi’s tongue-in-cheek named single ‘My Kinda Swag’ as ‘Introducing Track of the Week’ last year and inviting her to play at R1’s Big Weekend.
She has since gone on to receive widespread acclaim from the likes of The Guardian, Wonderland and Complex with each subsequent release, with Spotify and Apple also heavily supporting her online.
It’s clear that Emmi has the star power that can catapult her into the mainstream, with a left of centre pop sensibility that will sit her nicely alongside the likes of Sia and Lorde.
With a bank of her own songs, all with a penchant for a big chorus and a catchy melody, 2017 is the year that this pop star will go global.
