Multi-platinum selling, critically-acclaimed songwriter, recording artist and hit maker Sia returned with her brand new single ‘Alive’ earlier this month.  Today, Sia has revealed the lyric video for ‘Alive’, directed by Lior Molcho, featuring graffi artists spraying the lyrics across various urban landscapes.  ‘Alive’ impacts on 6th November and is the first single from her forthcoming album ‘This Is Acting’ due for release later this year on RCA Records.

‘Alive’ was written by Sia, Adele and Tobias Jesso Jr. and was produced by Jesse Shatkin, who also co-wrote and co-produced Sia’s massive four-time Grammy nominated ‘Chandelier’. Following in the footsteps of her previous releases, ‘Alive’ is set to take the charts by storm with its understated, stripped back verses that bursts into an explosive chorus as Sia’s emotive and seemingly limitless vocals dominate throughout.

Sia was catapulted into the limelight earlier this year following the release of her incredible singles ‘Chandelier’ and ‘Elastic Heart’, both of which garnered her success across the globe.  The ground-breaking video for ‘Chandelier’ has enjoyed an unprecedented 900 million views and its follow-up video ‘Elastic Heart’ with over 395 million views.

Sia has penned numerous chart topping hits over the past few years for a large variety of popstars including Beyoncé (Pretty Hurts), Rihanna(Diamonds) Katy Perry (Double Rainbow), Celine Dion (Love Me Back To Life) and Carly Rae Jepsen (Boy Problems) as well as featuring on tracks for the likes of David Guetta, Giorgio Moroder and Eminem. Additionally, Sia was nominated for a Golden Globe last year for the song “Opportunity” from the 2014 adaptation of the Broadway musical “Annie.”

Further details on Sia’s forthcoming album ‘This Is Acting’ will be announced soon.
