Prides are an unstoppable force. Following the success of their debut album, The Way Back Up, and huge sets at Glastonbury, T in the Park and Latitude Festivals, they now release new single, Little Danger, on 18th September. You can watch the new video below.

Little Danger has started off with a bang as it became Radio 1’s Annie Macs ‘Hottest Record In The World’. And has since had spins from Clara Amfo and Huw Stephens.

Singer, Stewart Brock says, ‘Little Danger was a track that came a little later in the writing of the album, but as soon as we started playing it live we got a great reaction and it quickly became our most requested song online! It’s a track with some real dance elements, big trance synths, vocoders and side-chained pads, and it’s definitely one of our faves. It’s also had an amazing response on radio, already making Annie Mac’s hottest record! (Thanks Annie!)

Lyrically it’s about that start of a relationship, about wanting someone so much that you can’t seem to contain it. It’s about that moment your body shivers when you catch eyes with someone’.

And of making the video Brock says, ‘The video concept was the brainchild of Romano Pizzichini and we all really loved it immediately. He totally got the context of the track, about the almost star-crossed Romeo & Juliet feeling of it all. About being unrestrained, shaking with a little danger. But it also went to a place we didn’t expect… the feel of a late 70’s gangster film, our lead female guarded by the mob, and the three of us doing a bit of acting. Prepare the Oscar nominations’.

With over 4.2 million Spotify streams, over 2.6 million video views, two sold out UK tours and a charting debut album at 24 in the Official Charts and 5 in Scotland, PRIDES have had a remarkable year so far.

This summer the band have performed on main stage at T In The Park, the John Peel Stage at Glastonbury and headlined Huw Stephen’s stage at Latitude Festival. Next stop is Reading and Leeds festivals to mark the end of a very hot summer.
