Having won over the hearts of the nation as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, Alesha Dixon returns to her first love, music, and announces the release of her brand new album, ‘Do It For Love’ out 9th October 2015.  The album will be available to pre-order first via an exclusive direct-to-fan pre-order via Alesha’s own store from Friday 7th August.

With over 15 years in the industry, several BRIT Award and MOBO nominations, three platinum-selling albums and nine Top Ten UK singles, Alesha is back and taking control. The new album ‘Do It For Love’ will be released independently on her own label Precious Stone Records (Absolute/Sony DADC), and sees her returning to her musical roots.

Working with a new creative freedom, Alesha has taken more control in the writing and recording process than ever before. Co-written in Sweden with Alex James, Harry Sommerdahl and Da Beat Freakz, as well as a feature from Wretch 32 on track ‘Stop’, Alesha has been set free from the constraints of making an album that she was expected to make – the new music encompasses the spirit of her Mis-Teeq days with a completely modern makeover.  The result of Alesha’s leap of faith and hard work is a dynamic collection of music that sounds and feels truly ‘Alesha’.

Alesha says, “This record is uplifting, fun and honest. ‘Do It For Love’ is the heart and soul of who I am and what I believe in. It’s a personal triumph and a moment I have waited a long time for.”
