X Factor favourite Paul Akister is to join The X Factor 2015 Live Tour dates in Manchester it was confirmed today (8th January 2015).

Paul who was in the Boys category narrowly missed out on a place on this year’s tour after coming 9th in the competition losing out in the deadlock to Jay James. But his mentor Mel B stepped in and, along with the agreement of all the other judges, who loved Paul’s voice, decided he deserved the chance to sing in a large arena, so a delighted Paul will be a guest act on the Manchester dates.

Paul will be performing at the Manchester dates on Friday 21st and Saturday (matinee) 22nd February.

Paul said of joining the tour: “I’m so excited to be part of The X Factor Live Tour. Performing in my hometown arena is a dream come true and I cannot wait to see everyone again”.

Kicking off on 13th February 2015 in Belfast, The X Factor 2015 Live Tour is a UK and Ireland arena tour which will travel to Aberdeen, Bournemouth, Birmingham, Brighton, Cardiff, Dublin, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham and Sheffield with contestants performing classic songs and viewers’ favourites from the TV series.
