RCA Records are excited to confirm that Nathaniel ‘s debut single ‘YOU’ is available to pre order now ahead of its release on August 17th.
‘YOU’ was borne out of the collaboration between Nathaniel and Australia’s premium song writing and production team, David Musumeci and Anthony Egizii, aka DNA. The DNA boys saw something special in Nathaniel, so much so they signed him to DNA’s own boutique label.
Since Nathaniel’s signing to the DNA label, they have formed a genuine musical partnership enabling him to forge his own sound; a synthesis of R&B, pop, funk, and rock, with an innate sophistication and understated emotional power. His debut single through the DNA/SME label, ‘YOU’, is more than the sum of its parts. Mid tempo swagger, earworm hook and a falsetto made out of crystal, it serves up all of Nathaniel’s strengths as a performer and writer.

Nathaniel Willemse aka Nathaniel was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and moved to Melbourne at a young age. Growing up in a culture immersed in musical and artistic expression, Nathaniel developed a passion for music that developed him as a musician, songwriter and producer. He grabbed the nation’s attention with his soaring, soulful voice on The X Factor in 2012, and has since been working hard to further develop his talents and release new music. ‘YOU’ is available to pre order now, and will be released on August 17th.
