On December 20th, 1D fans all over the world will be able to join together to re-live the live concert performances of their favourite band with a “Global Viewing Party”, following the debut of ONE DIRECTION: THIS IS US on Blu-ray™ 3D, Blu-ray and DVD with UltraViolet™ on December 19th from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE).All of the ingredients for the perfect One Direction bash will be easily accessible and free to fans when SPHE launches the 1DMovieParty “microsite,” where party hosts and hostesses can download the “do it yourself” This Is Us party kit, which will include invitations to share with their friends, printable Bingo cards for party-goers to play while watching the film, 1D-themed decorations and recipes and much, much more.
SPHE is also partnering with party stylist and graphic design company Anders Ruff to provide tips and how-to’s to help throw the ultimate viewing party. ONE DIRECTION: THIS IS US “Ultimate Fan Edition” is available on the Blu-ray™ 3D and Blu-ray with UltraViolet™ on December 19. The special edition release features both the original theatrical and extended fan cuts of the feature film. The Extended Cut includes 20 minutes of new footage and four additional songs for fans to treasure.
