New London-based emo/pop-punk/rock outfit Ghost Arcadia have wasted zero time and entered 2020 with a brand new single ahead of their EP launch this month. When Glory hit my inbox this week, it could have quite easily gotten lost amongst the swathe of music I receive. I’m really glad this didn’t.

Glory is an instantly ‘listenable’ song, and by that, I mean one that doesn’t need to grow on you. It’s recognisable in the sense that on first listen, it already feels anthemic. The mixed influences of genres are evident in that it rocks at a heavy pace yet maintains the melodic groove, making this fit comfortably at home in a mosh pit or on the radio.

Born out of duo, Reuben Beau Davies and Anthony Hollis’ passion for live music, performance and production, Ghost Arcadia finalised their four-piece line up with Adam Ford (lead guitar) and Ali McCreadie (drums). With each member growing up listening to music so different from one another, it’s no surprise that Ghost Arcadia’s genre fits no box. They pride themselves on not being pigeonholed and writing what feels right for them at any given moment. Musically, Ghost Arcadia takes note from an eclectic influence pool, including the likes of Twenty One Pilots, White Lies, You Me at Six and The Killers.

Ghost Arcadia are keen to make new waves across further regions without losing their dedicated fan base right here in the capital. The band are DIY through and through and keep this value in mind with every project, gig, and team they work with – they’re doing it themselves and 2020 is set to be a big year for these lads.

The band will be releasing their debut EP under this lineup titled, Libero, which was produced by Billy Stewart. To celebrate, the band will be playing an EP launch show at Nambucca, London on 20th February.
