Olly Murs has been announced as the first headliner for On The Beach’s new Great Yarmouth festival, which will launch from 17–20 June 2027.
The singer will headline on 18 June, bringing his catalogue of pop hits to the Norfolk coast as On The Beach expands beyond its established Brighton home for the first time.
The Great Yarmouth event marks a major expansion for the festival, which launched in Brighton in 2021 and has since hosted artists including Fatboy Slim, Moby, Madness, Chase & Status, Above & Beyond, Bicep, Eric Prydz, Underworld and Carl Cox, alongside live acts such as Royal Blood, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, The Libertines, Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs and The Kooks.
Murs has released eight studio albums, with five reaching No.1, and has sold more than two million tour tickets. In 2025, he celebrated 15 years of hits with a sold-out UK tour.
The new Great Yarmouth festival will take place along the town’s famous seafront, with further artists expected to be announced for the four-day event.
On The Beach is also continuing its partnership with Music Support, the charity supporting people working in the UK music industry affected by mental health, substance use and addiction challenges.
An On The Beach spokesperson said: “After six incredible years in Brighton, we’re excited to spread our wings and bring the On The Beach experience to Great Yarmouth. Its sandy beach and famous Golden Mile make it a fantastic setting for a new seafront festival.”
Tickets for Olly Murs’ On The Beach Great Yarmouth show go on general sale at 10am BST on Friday 2 October, with a pre-sale beginning at 10am on Thursday 1 October.
