Today, three-time Grammy Award winner Ariana Grande releases her eighth studio album, petal, via Babydoll Music / Republic Records. The highly anticipated album was co-written and produced by Ariana Grande and ILYA, with Max Martin joining them as co-writer and producer on three tracks.
Coinciding with the album’s release, the official music video for “petal” directed by Christian Breslauer, premieres today at 4.00PM BST – tune in HERE.
The album’s lead single, “hate that i made you love me”, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking Ariana’s tenth career Hot 100 chart-topper. With the achievement, she became the first artist in history to debut the lead single from each of her first eight studio albums in the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10.
This summer, Ariana returned to the stage for her first global tour in more than seven years with The Eternal Sunshine Tour. The sold-out run earned widespread acclaim from critics and fans alike.
