Released on 29 June 2026 via Presages Label, Blythburgh is Arthur’s eighth single and arguably their boldest and most artistically ambitious release to date.
Entirely self-taught, Arthur grew up in Scotland, experiencing homelessness, isolation and limited access to modern conveniences such as the internet and traditional education. Their unconventional upbringing profoundly shaped both their outlook and songwriting, resulting in music that feels deeply human and emotionally authentic. At the age of seven, Arthur moved to England, where their passion for music continued to flourish. They later attended Access Creative College, developing their craft while building the industry connections that have helped propel their live career. Their audience has steadily grown since first gaining attention on YouTube at a young age, with that early following expanding across TikTok and Instagram, bringing Arthur’s music to an ever-growing fanbase.
Blythburgh romanticises late-night drives with no destination, finding purpose in the journey itself. It transforms the simplicity of being on the road into something cinematic, filled with emotion, wonder and quiet reflection. Arthur first met producer Christy Carey while collaborating on Birdsong, before continuing their partnership on both The Burning Side of You and Blythburgh.
