Amelia’s ability to tell stories through her music is beautifully showcased in her new single, Pixie Dust, enchanting listeners while delivering a heartfelt message about friendship and mental health that will resonate with many.
As a listener, Pixie Dust evokes the dance-pop sensibility of Sophie Ellis-Bextor and the whimsical warmth of Corinne Bailey Rae. Its infectious, playful melody is paired with heartfelt lyricism that carries a deeper meaning than first meets the ear. Amelia and the Lovefools occupy a space where polished pop meets genuine authenticity.
Amelia regularly performs across Norwich with an interchangeable live band, appearing at venues including VooDoo Daddy’s and the Norwich Arts Centre. Each performance continues to attract growing audiences, earning her an ever-expanding fanbase. On Pixie Dust, Amelia is joined by Daniel Peake on bass, with the track produced by Gavin Bowers and mixed by Jack Halsall, combining their talents to create a beautifully playful piece of music.
Beyond performing, Amelia is a prominent figure in Norwich’s creative community. She works as a creative practitioner, writer and communications producer at The Garage, while also overseeing the production, design and direction of much of her artwork and music videos through Soup Promo, the production company she co-founded. The enchanting music video for Pixie Dust, which offers a magical visual companion to the song, was entirely produced and directed by Amelia through Soup Promo.
