Global K-pop powerhouse aespa has released their highly-anticipated second studio album, “LEMONADE”. Watch the official music video for the title track below.
Spanning 10 tracks, “LEMONADE” captures aespa’s high-octane, futuristic sound and penchant for irresistible anthems, while pushing into their most refined and boldest production to date.
The title track “LEMONADE” is a pulsating electronic dance track that recalls the infectious energy of aespa’s signature hits “Supernova” and “Whiplash”. Global Latin pop sensation Becky G adds extra spice to a reimagined version of the track, available on the digital edition of the album.
Inspired by the phrase “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade”, the song delivers an empowering message about turning pressure and challenges into opportunities, reimagined through aespa’s distinct sonic and visual lens.
Across the project, aespa expands their sonic palette across electronic dance, hyperpop, pop-rock and R&B, showcasing the performance and vocal prowess of KARINA, WINTER, GISELLE and NINGNING.
Highlights include the explosive single “WDA (Whole Different Animal)” featuring G-DRAGON, which kicks off a new chapter in aespa’s expanding lore. Elsewhere, “Switchblade” featuring Ty Dolla $ign brings a sleek electronic edge, while “SHAKIN’” delivers icy confidence over a rhythmic dance beat.
Amid the high-energy production, the album also leans into emotional depth. “Can’t Help Myself” brings a bluesy, rock-tinged sound, while “Camouflage” explores identity and self-preservation through hyperpop textures. The album closes with “Til We Die”, a soaring pop-rock dedication to their supporters.
To celebrate the release, aespa will launch aespa WEEK – MAKE IT LEMONADE pop-up experiences worldwide, including Los Angeles and New York, alongside activations across major cities in Asia including Bangkok, Seoul, Shenzhen, Tokyo and Taipei.
The release marks aespa’s first full-length album in two years, following the success of “Armageddon”. The group continues to expand globally, earning “Group of the Year” at Billboard Women in Music 2025. They will perform at Lollapalooza before embarking on their new world tour, 2026–27 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK : COMPLæXITY, which includes UK stops in Manchester (14 January) and London (16 January).
