Soul singer Olympia Vitalis today releases her enchanting first single of 2026, ‘Daze’. Listen here. This marks the beginning of the Lady Luck era and offers a perfect introduction to an artist many are beginning to recognise as one of the UK’s most exciting newcomers.

Opening with luxurious instrumentation, Olympia’s voice instantly brings the richness that makes ‘Daze’ such a special listen. There’s a juxtaposition between the lyrics and the music, as Olympia expresses a story of a bad situation while the overall temperament of the song remains vibrant and energising.

Speaking on the single, Olympia says: “This is a super upbeat, lighthearted song with a pretty sad story. The song starts with me expressing how stuck I feel and my lack of agency in a situation, and by the end I’m realising that ‘I can’t keep being’ with them. The theme of agency vs luck is explored here — taking things into my own hands and removing myself from a bad situation.”

As someone who always wishes to connect with her audience, the release of ‘Daze’ was celebrated by Olympia welcoming a small group of fans to meet her and listen to unreleased music at her studio.

Releasing her debut EP ‘People Watching’ in July 2025, the project reflected Olympia re-telling stories, observing people and their impact on her or others with as little judgement as possible. The project has garnered over 1.5 million streams and received support from Radio 1, as well as publications such as CLASH, who labelled her as one of the ‘25 Artists Who Could Define the Year’.

2025 brought a wave of support for Olympia, and by opening her year with ‘Daze’ and a headline show at St Pancras Old Church in April — which sold out in just over a week — it’s clear that there’s much more to come.

Alongside her headline show, she’s supporting Common Saints on their upcoming EU/UK tour, performing at the UK’s largest free music event Limitless Live alongside FLO and others, and appearing at Gent Jazz Festival alongside Celeste. See full tour information below.
