Rock N Roll Circus has confirmed a major expansion for 2026, transforming its Sheffield edition into a full four-day August Bank Holiday takeover at Don Valley Bowl.
Running from Thursday 27 August to Sunday 30 August 2026, the festival is levelling up in serious style.
The Kooks to celebrate 20 years of Inside In / Inside Out
Opening the newly added Thursday night are The Kooks, performing their breakthrough debut album Inside In / Inside Out in full to mark its 20th anniversary. Expect wall-to-wall nostalgia with era-defining tracks like “Naïve”, “She Moves In Her Own Way” and “Ooh La”.
They’ll be joined by Sheffield favourites Milburn, celebrating 20 years of Well, Well, Well, and indie mainstay Miles Kane, whose solo work and time with The Last Shadow Puppets has cemented him as one of Britain’s most recognisable guitar-frontmen.
And that’s just night one.
A heavyweight Bank Holiday weekend
The expanded Sheffield line-up also includes:
- The Streets performing A Grand Don’t Come For Free in full on Friday 28 August
- Wunderhorse headlining Saturday 29 August, supported by Baxter Dury, English Teacher and Fat Dog
- Richard Ashcroft closing Sunday 30 August, joined by The Fratellis and Cast
More artists across all four dates are still to be announced.
A festival that does things differently
Since launching in 2022, Rock N Roll Circus has carved out a distinct lane in the UK festival scene by blending world-class live music with large-scale circus performance inside its signature Big Top arena. Think aerialists, fire performers, roaming theatre and immersive spectacle woven throughout the site.
VIP packages will be available, offering fast-track entry, premium viewing areas and upgraded facilities.
Festival Director Ali O’Reilly called the expansion “a huge moment” for the event, promising 2026 will take things to the next level.
With landmark album celebrations and massive headline sets locked in, Sheffield’s August Bank Holiday just got a serious upgrade.
