Fcukers headline gig in the heart of France electrified and lit up the entire audience, sending everyone in attendance into a frenzied spiral one could only describe as electro pop madness.

Fcukers formed in New York City just 3 years ago in 2022, astoundingly releasing around 6 singles, the more popular being “Homie Don’t Shake,” “Bon Bon,” “Mother” and “Tommy,” and an EP titled “Baggy$$$,” with a range of remixes alongside. It seems Fcukers know exactly what they’re doing in this industry and have hit the formula running with their amazingly fast acceleration of fans and countless hit after hit in their releases.

The first song played, “Homie Don’t Shake,” was the perfect accelerator for the wild ride that commenced thereafter, hypnotising many fans and unsuspecting night out enjoyers into the intoxicating music of Fcukers. As one of those unsuspecting guests, I can first handedly confirm that the pull of this band is strong and their songs have transfixed me for hours after the concert commenced.

Surprisingly, the band itself is only made up of two members, the others on hire. The enchanting Shanny Wise is on vocals, with one of the best examples of stage presence I have witnessed, and Jackson Walker Lewis on bass and keyboard who is also listed as producer of the bands music which is an impressive lineup of titles. Together the two bring the audience in as more friends than fans, making the crowd feel not just in attendance but a part of the concert as a whole, adding to the excitement and atmosphere, and connecting with the band personally. The band give the crowd an impression of mutual fulfilment, feeding off of us in the same way we fed from them, assisting each other in bringing the dynamic and powerful atmosphere that was incredibly present.

In interview with a Fcukers fan attending the gig, I was told, “The environment is amazing, the whole thing feels like one big party,  best concert I’ve been to ever,” and I can do nothing but agree. The atmosphere is, as this fan suggested, less like a gig at all and more like an ecstatic house party you’d only see in the movies. The music and feeling brought by the members of Fcukers created an invitation for strangers to dance and share an experience as more friends than strangers, causing a community and sense of connection in the crowd.

In conclusion, Fcukers is not one to be missed and should stay in the forefront of many people’s eyes as they inevitably grow further into the light tiled some of the best musicians and performers seen in the 2020’s.

If you learn anything today, let it be that streaming Fcukers is the best idea since sliced bread.
