Globally celebrated rock star YUNGBLUD has landed his second Number 1 of the year in the UK album charts with One More Time, a collaborative EP with Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Aerosmith.

The news tops off a phenomenal year for the 28-year-old from Doncaster, whose album Idols flew to number 1 in June the day before he headlined The National Bowl in Milton Keynes for Bludfest. This summer also saw the artist stun 40,000 fans at Villa Park with a soul stirring rendition of Black Sabbath’s ‘Changes’. Later in the year, he stole the show at the VMAs in New York with a medley of Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne tracks with Aerosmith – before announcing One More Time.

This month, YUNGBLUD shared a moving video capturing the moment he and his team learned he had been nominated for three Grammy Awards in the Rock category, making him the first British artist to achieve this and placing him alongside the likes of Bruce Springsteen, U2 and Foo Fighters. He is also the most nominated British solo artist at next year’s awards.

Speaking about achieving his second UK number 1 of the year, YUNGBLUD said, “No words can express how grateful I am for this… my second number 1 of 2025. Massive love to everyone who supported this record in the name of rock and roll.

Aerosmith has been part of the soundtrack to my life. Thank you to Joe and Steven for riding with me – I can’t believe we made a record together!

He added, “This is the cherry on top of a f*cking crazy, emotional rollercoaster of a year. Bring on 2026! Love.

One More Time marks Aerosmith’s first ever UK number 1 album. Speaking about the landmark collaboration, Capitol Music Group’s CEO Tom March said, “Scoring their first U.K. Number 1 at this stage in their legendary career is an extraordinary moment for Aerosmith, and doing it with a fearless talent like YUNGBLUD makes it even more special. This EP bridges generations, pushes boundaries, and proves that great rock music keeps evolving. It’s a testament to the band’s enduring power and YUNGBLUD’s unstoppable momentum. Together, they’ve created a cultural moment—and we couldn’t be more thrilled to celebrate it.

President of Island EMI Label Group, Louis Bloom praised the achievement by both acts, noting YUNGBLUD’s 2025 trajectory, “Huge congratulations to Aerosmith and Dom (Yungblud) on the success of ‘One More Time’, which has to be the collaboration of 2025! We are all delighted to see this debut at the top of the charts helping Dom score his second number 1 of the year and giving the legendary Aerosmith their first UK number 1. This collaboration is testament to both artists’ incredible passion and creativity and their absolute belief in the enduring power of rock music.

Dom came into the label just a year ago and laid out his manifesto there and then for the year ahead. Inspired by his vision, the label matched his ambition and enthusiasm and a year later we couldn’t be prouder of the success he has enjoyed in 2025. To watch him grow into a genuine global rockstar before our eyes, and to have played a small part in his rise, is a pleasure and a privilege.”

In its glowing review of One More Time, Kerrang! Declared that “rock’s present and future belongs to Yungblud”.

Louder called the release “some of Aerosmith’s best work in nearly a quarter of a century” and “a surprising but welcome triumph”.

YUNGBLUD is nominated for Best Rock Album, Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.
