Revered as one of the UK’s most beloved festival weekends, Truck Festival returns in 2026 with its biggest edition to date – packing summer memories and a home for all ages into a weekend stacked with a who’s who in the indie and alternative music world whilst bursting with laugh-out-loud character. Becoming a true rite of passage and indisputably the best value festival ticket of the entire UK season, 2026 looks primed to capture everything which has made Truck such a standout of the festival summer. Incredible bands, an unrivalled atmosphere and a feeling that can’t be touched no matter the time of the weekend. There’s a reason why so many talk about Truck Festival, now it’s time to see why.

Announced today is the first wave of names confirmed to head to Hill Farm this summer, including FIVE headliners spanning the weekend – capturing the indie scene across different eras and moments. After reuniting this year, The Maccabees make their long-awaited Truck debut headlining the festival in 2026. One of the most acclaimed bands of the 2000s, The Maccabees stand as a vital pillar of the British guitar scene with an arsenal of classics and their own distinct sound inspiring singalongs and influencing generations in equal measure. The likes of ‘Pelican’, ‘Can You Give It’, ‘Love You Better’, ‘Marks To Prove It’, ‘Latchmere’ and more have come to define the modern indie landscape – making them a band that flows through the veins of Truck. A headline moment for the ages, The Maccabees at Truck Festival 2026 is unmissable.

Also stacked with anthems born for summer festival singalongs, Two Door Cinema Club return to Truck Festival celebrating 15 years of their seminal debut album ‘Tourist History’. A band who have led the way for a generation, the Bangor trio mark the album that started it all alongside all their greatest hits – with a live show that has seen thousands upon thousands gather close to throw themselves into tracks like ‘What You Know’, ‘Undercover Martyn’, ‘I Can Talk’, ‘Something Good Can Work’ and so much more.

Truck is THE place for bands and artists to celebrate their crowning moments with the scene and crowd that have supported them from the very beginning. Making her headline debut, CMAT brings her Very Sexy CMAT Band to Truck Festival on the Thursday night to mark an incredible 12 months that has seen her become a global national treasure. With the ability to capture giant festival crowds in the palm of her hand, CMAT’s rise to the very top is primed to be one of those ‘I Was There’ moments with Truck moving in unison to a modern great.

Closing the festival on Sunday night is a co-headline celebration of the ages. Pioneers and one of the most important UK bands of the 21st century The Libertines take to the Truck stage with their unpredictable and thrilling live show. ‘Don’t Look Back Into The Sun’, ‘Can’t Stand Me Now’, ‘Run Run Run’, ‘What Became Of The Likely Lads’, ‘Time For Heroes’ and more have become beacons of the indie world. Likewise, The Wombats bring their arena-sized bangers to Truck Festival for a feel-good headliner where having a good time is a guarantee.

Speaking about headlining Truck Festival 2026, The Wombats’ Dan Haggis says:
“We’ve played Truck a few times now and it never disappoints, it’s always a highlight of our summer and we’re so excited to be back headlining it again in 2026! See you there.”

These headliners lead a jam-packed lineup pulling across all eras – gathered together for a weekend unrivalled and unmissable. Truck icons The Vaccines return to the festival as Special Guests, playing a set marking 15 years of their debut album. Kaiser Chiefs arrive led by the unmistakable energy of Ricky Wilson. The iconic Primal Scream take to the stage, as do The Cribs, ready to tear Truck apart in the best way possible. With Everything Everything, Circa Waves and Friendly Fires also announced, Truck is shaping up to be the real-life version of the ultimate indie playlist.

Yet what makes Truck so essential is its calling card as the go-to festival weekend to catch the bands defining the here and now. Keo, Florence Road, Mercury Prize winners English Teacher, The Royston Club, The K’s and many more arrive for landmark sets. Joined by the likes of Getdown Services, Lottery Winners, Brooke Combe, Willie J Healey, Black Honey, Radio Free Alice and plenty more, it’s clear why Truck remains a circled date in every indie fan’s calendar.

Speaking about Truck Festival 2026, John Dell – Head Of Marketing – said:
“We’re absolutely buzzing to announce the first wave of names for Truck 2026 after such an incredible demand already for tickets… We have the best indie summer playlist going. Next year’s festival is going to be an all-timer!”
