Jenny Hollingworth’s musical journey so far has established her in the crossover world of hyperpop and alternative pop through the Mercury-nominated outfit Let’s Eat Grandma, now fronting a fresh project, ‘Every Ounce of Me’ is the sound of tender beginnings that later explodes into vibrant electropop.
Released through Transgressive Records, Hollingworth commented that the new single was inspired by;
‘Every Ounce of Me’ was inspired by singing dramatic, fun, 80s love songs at karaoke with my friends. I wanted to write something of my own I could imagine in that setting. It’s a song about not being able to help falling for someone despite your reservations about love and trying your hardest not to…’
The catchy earworm chorus is perfect pop made by the pure of heart, and sounds completely inspired by the background Hollingworth gave it.
