Get ready, Norwich – the award-winning Rock N Roll Circus is rolling into town for the very first time, and it’s bringing a heavyweight lineup that’ll blow the Big Top clean off.
Pop-punk royalty McFly have just been confirmed as Thursday night headliners (14 August), joining indie titans Courteeners and pop powerhouse Olly Murs for what’s shaping up to be one of the summer’s most eclectic – and electric – festival bills.

Fresh from his jungle victory on I’m A Celeb, Danny Jones will be leading the McFly lads into East Anglia for a night of full-throttle hits, power chords, and mass singalongs. It’s been 20 years since Room on the 3rd Floor smashed records and sent McFly skyward – and they’re showing no signs of slowing down.
“We can’t wait to return to Norfolk next summer! Rock N Roll Circus in Norwich sounds amazing. See you there!” – McFly
Joining them under the Big Top is Eurovision hero Sam Ryder, who’s been lighting up stages with those skyscraper vocals and cosmic charisma. Add to that indie faves Lottery Winners, rising Scottish talent Rianne Downey, slick pop outfit Deco, and local legends Youth Killed It, and Thursday night’s looking stacked.
Festival Director Ali O’Reilly says:
“Rock N Roll Circus is launching in Norwich with a bang! McFly is the perfect act to open the show – their energy and iconic hits will set the tone for an unforgettable weekend.”

And that’s just the beginning. Friday night (15 August) belongs to Courteeners, fresh from anniversary tour madness and ready to rip through their indie anthems. They’ll be joined by a killer support cast including including The Lathums, Reverend and The Makers, The Lemonheads, Brooke Combe, The Clause, The Rosadocs, October Drift, Pleasure Inc., with Norwich legends Arthur Black and Gabby Rivers.

Closing out the weekend on Saturday 16 August is none other than Olly Murs, bringing the party with his chart-topping hits and cheeky charm. He’ll be backed by a full pop-heavy lineup featuring Pixie Lott, Scouting For Girls, Samantha Harvey, AJ Brown, Beth Macari, RoRo and Norwich favourites Mama Oh No – making sure the final night ends on an all-singing, all-dancing high.
Rock N Roll Circus isn’t your average fest – it’s a hybrid spectacle of live music and jaw-dropping circus performances. Think high-wire acts, fire-breathers, aerialists, and a festival that doesn’t care what the weather’s doing, thanks to the fully-covered Big Top arena.
