Multi Platinum-selling recording artist, songwriter, producer, and philanthropist Zayn has announced his first ever solo tour, Stairway To The Sky. The intimate 11-city tour, produced by AEG & SJM, will hit an exclusive run of cities across the US and UK this Fall.
The tour kicks off on October 23 in San Francisco, CA, making stops in Las Vegas, LA, and DC before wrapping the North American leg on November 2 in NYC. The trek will continue to the UK on November 20 in Edinburgh, with stops in Manchester, London and more before concluding on December 3 in Newcastle, UK. The tour will be held in intimate sized venues to highlight the raw and stripped sound of his critically acclaimed 4th studio album Room Under The Stairs, released earlier this year on May 17 via Mercury Records. Fans can expect to hear the new record along with fan favorites never before performed live.
Room Under The Stairs has been lauded by fans and critics alike, with Billboard crowning it “a career highlight,” and Grammy.com praising the record, “an unmistakable sonic and thematic evolution.” Rolling Stone added, “it is a showcase of an artist willingly setting the bar higher to give himself something to yearn for both emotionally and creatively… The musician’s stripped-down fourth studio album is a showcase for the bare foundations of his artistry.”
Tickets to the Stairway To The Sky Tour will be available starting with the Zayn VIP Key Presale Thursday, September 19 with additional presales running throughout the week. General on-sale will begin on Saturday, September 21 at 11am local at inzayn.com.
For the past six years, Zayn has been writing and crafting Room Under The Stairs at his home studio in rural PA. This album marks his most personal release to date, reflecting where he is in life, while exploring the complexities of healing, stillness, and growth. It also sees the genre-bending artist explore a new sound, leaning into his soulful vocals, live instrumentation, and poetic lyricism as a songwriter.
