With the new Love Island cast revealed, Star Sports have made PE teacher Hugo Hammond 9/2 to be winning boy, while Scottish glamour model Shannon Singh is the same price to be winning girl this summer.
Hammond, who will become the show’s first disabled contestant, is the early favourite to be crowned king of the villa, but will face stiff competition from Northumberland labourer Brad McClelland and Hashtag United’s Toby Aromolaran, both at 5/1.

Next in the betting to be the triumphant male is luxury events host Aaron Francis and engineer Jake Cornish, both priced at 6/1.

Singh, influencer and top of the betting for winning girl, boasts an impressive 150,000 followers on Instagram and is fancied to win the hearts of the nation during her time in the villa.

Her biggest threat could be Essex fashion blogger Kaz Kamwi, who is 5/1 to claim victory, while civil servant Sharon Gaffka is 11/2.

Marketing student Liberty Poole is 6/1 to be crowned the female winner, ahead of Faye Winter at 13/2 and Chloe Burrows at 7/1.

Luke Tarr, Head of PR at Star Sports, said: “Love Island will return to our screens next week, and fans of the show gained a sneak peak of the contestants entering the villa yesterday after ITV’s announcement.

“From the cast members revealed, former England disabled cricket player Hugo Hammond is an early frontrunner for the boys, while influencer Shannon Singh leads the way for the girls, and both contestants are 9/2 to win in their own rights.

“There’ll be a few familiar faces for viewers, with Hashtag United’s football star Toby Aromolaran also fancied to hit the ground running on the show, and he’s 5/1 to be crowned male winner this summer. Essex fashion blogger Kaz Kamwi could also be a hit amongst the girls, and she’s also 5/1 to be winning girl.”
