The BRIT Awards 2018 with Mastercard today announces that British pop-powerhouse Rita Ora, who has sold a staggering seven million singles, will make a spectacular return to the live stage at this year’s ceremony, which takes place Wednesday 21st February at The O2 Arena, London.

With four previous BRIT nominations, 11 top ten singles (four of which received platinum status and seven of which are gold certified) and a number 1 platinum-selling debut album under her belt, Rita has cemented herself as one of the most successful UK pop acts of the last decade. The First Access Entertainment managed artist saw her recent return to music culminate in 1 billion streams views worldwide and three globe-spanning smash hit singles.

Last year’s come back single ‘Your Song’ has become Rita’s biggest hit around Europe and has been streamed millions of times around the world. ‘Lonely Together’ her collaboration with Avicii released in August became a global top ten hit. The solo follow up ‘Anywhere’ released last October hit number two in the UK and is still in the top 10 this week. Rita’s new release ‘For You’, a duet with 2018 double-nominee Liam Payne, is set to be her fourth hit in less than a year and is the lead track from the ‘Fifty Shades Freed’ movie. Rita will be releasing the follow up to her debut number one album later this year and starting a headline tour across Europe this May.

On the announcement that she is to perform at the UK’s hottest date in the showbiz calendar, Rita says:“I am so honoured to be performing at The BRITs this year, as a British artist it has always been a dream of mine and I am beyond excited”
