‘Too Much To Ask’ is one of the first songs Niall penned for his upcoming solo album, which he began working on last year. He co-wrote the track with longtime collaborator Jamie Scott, and it is produced by Greg Kurstin, who produced his first solo hit single ‘This Town’.

‘Too Much To Ask’ follows Niall’s recent smash ‘Slow Hands’ which went straight to No.1 in 44 countries. It has been named one of the “Best Songs of 2017 So Far” by Billboard and is still currently a Top 3 radio record at US Top 40. ‘Slow Hands’ has had more than 820 million combined streams worldwide, with views of the lyric video exceeding 65 million. In the UK the single is Gold selling over 500,000 copies to date.

Niall also announced that his debut solo album, ‘Flicker’, will be released globally on October 20th 2017, revealing the cover artwork.

Niall has been previewing songs from the album at intimate venues around the world on the ‘Flicker Sessions 2017’ tour. He is currently in Tokyo, with gigs in Dublin, London, Stockholm, Sydney, Rio de Janeiro, Mexico City, Toronto, Los Angeles, New York and more. His recent London show at Shepherds Bush Empire won him big critical praise from the likes of The Guardian, Line of Best Fit, Metro and Daily Telegraph.

Niall’s ‘Flicker World Tour’ has also been confirmed for 2018 with dates in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand already announced. Further dates around the world will be announced soon.
