Following her incredible performance on X Factor last week, Zara Larsson owned the BBC Music Awards 2016 with a power-house mash-up of ‘Lush Life’ and new single ‘I Would Like’. The performance saw the global pop star start proceedings backstage before lighting up the ExCeL London in spectacular fashion with some seriously on-point choreography.  

‘I Would Like’ is already growing into another monster of a hit single for Zara, finishing what’s been an incredible 2016 in true slay queen style. A pop banger in every sense of the world, ‘I Would Like’ further solidifies Zara’s position as THE female pop star of the moment.

Zara has now also released a new remix of ‘I Would Like’ by electronic dynamic duo, Gorgon City – listen to the new remix on Spotify or YouTube.

Over the past twelve months Zara Larsson has achieved what most artists can only dream of, becoming one of the biggest breakthrough females of the year.  Her global domination has seen her walk away with two 2016 MTV EMAs, winning ‘Best New Artist’ and the ‘Worldwide Act Award for Swedenand perform on BBC’s Children In Need.  Following her X Factor debut, Zara will be taking the stage at the BBC Music Awards 2016 and the Top Of The Pop’s Christmas and New Years’ Eve Specials in December too.

As for the US, TV performances have included The Ellen Show and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (twice) and she was nominated at the MTV VMAs.  Factor in a V Festival performance, taking over the stages at Vevo Halloween, KISS Haunted House and Capital’s Monster Mash-up in the same week and the small matter of opening for Beyoncé on both dates of her Formation World Tour at Wembley Stadium, it’s been non-stop for the Swedish sensation.
