It has been the most talked about and relevant return to music by an artist in decades! Having sold over 15 million albums, achieving 16 Top Ten hits and multi-platinum status in more than 20 countries, taking over festival stages around the world, selling out headline tours in seconds to securing a residency at the iconic Ibiza Rocks Hotel …It’s official, Craig David is back and in a big way!

Ahead of his performances at V Festival this weekend, Craig announces the release of his highly anticipated new album, ‘Following My Intuition’ out 30th September and his new single, ‘Ain’t Giving Up’ (with Sigala), out now through Speakerbox/Insanity.

A perfect and fresh blend of Craig’s pioneering garage sound, RnB and blazing club bangers, he wrote hundreds of tracks over the course of three years to make the most important album of his career. The album is a celebration of one of the UK’s most loved artists, back on British soil, and at the helm of his own unique, authentically British sound. A sound that made waves across the globe, making him the voice of one of the most pivotal eras in UK music, and in turn, making him one of the most successful artists in UK chart history.

Craig says “I’m back in that 16-year-old kid mode, hungry, passionate and making music that I’m truly proud of. I want to deliver the music that people have been asking for, for so long, following my intuition and coming from a great place.”

Sixteen years since the critically-acclaimed, ‘Born To Do It’ changed his life, Craig catapulted back into the charts and into the nation’s hearts with Big Narstie on the gold certified single ‘When The Bassline Drops’, marking the beginning his triumphant return. Craig has since leapt from strength to strength on our airwaves, and has been unavoidable on our TV screens and on the live circuit ever since.

From the bass bubbling smash hit, ‘Nothing Like This’ with Blonde to the stripped back ‘All We Needed’ showcasing Craig’s flawless vocals, the new album pays homage to his distinctive signature sound, but also shows Craig in a new found light. It is the same, instantly recognisable voice, but showing the progression of an artist that has truly come into his own. Speaking to a new generation who are listening with fresh ears and sparking euphoric nostalgia in fans that have waited for his return… Craig David has come home, and we couldn’t be happier!
