One Direction, Adele,Little Mix, Andy Murray and Lewis Hamilton are a few UK celebrities who have been nominated for the 2016Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards.

From today, kids can vote across seven UK-specific and 22 international categories online at kca.nick.co.uk/vote, on Nick Play and via Twitter using the hashtag #KCA. Winners will be announced during the super-sized ceremony which airs in the UK on Sunday 13th March from 5:00pm.

The 2016 Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards sees a battle of the bands for UK Favourite Music Act and UK Favourite Music Video as Little Mix, The Vamps,Rixton and One Direction go up against each other with nominations in both categories. Meanwhile, powerhouse singers Adele and Jess Glynne compete to win UK Favourite Music Video for the first time.

Reigning UK Favourite Celebrity Animal championPrince Essex (Joey Essex’s cat) returns, but against his own kind this year in brand-new category UK Favourite Famous Cat. The claws will be out as he rivals A-Listers Meredith and Olivia Benson (Taylor Swift’s cats) and world-renowned Grumpy Cat.

Up-and-coming vloggers are smashing onto the 2016Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards scene with newbies including MyNamesChai, Raphael Gomes andNoodlerella vying to win UK Favourite Breakthrough Vlogger. All the while, Swifties and Directioners return to beat new fan-bases Beliebers and Mixers in UK Favourite Fan Family.

Masters of gaming Mr. Stampy Cat, The Diamond Mine Cart and Spencer FC return for a second year with nominations for UK Favourite Tipster. They face tough competition from new entrants AliA,iBallisticSquid and Ethan Gamer TV.

UK Favourite Sports Star marks its return in 2016 with sporting talent Andy Murray, Jessica Ennis-Hill, Lewis Hamilton, Steph Houghton, Ellie Simmonds and Harry Kane all receiving nominations.

UK viewers can tune-in from 5:00pm on Sunday 13thMarch where UK hosts Jordan and Perri will bring a bit of Britain to LA as they interview the world’s biggest celebrities and Nickelodeon stars on the orange carpet and gather all of the gossip from this year’s awards.
