Having attracted widespread support from Zane, Huw Stephens, and BBC Introducing for several mighty indie singles, Franko Fraize steps into the limelight with his joyous, anthem ‘Oi Oi’ December 18th on Polydor.

Born in Thetford and proud of it, Franko writes spiky, passionate songs about what it’s like to be a twentysomething in small town 2015 Britain. He’s spent the last couple years climbing a ladder entirely of his own making which led to Radio 1 playlists, the BBC One Big Weekend Introducing Stage, and coverage on Channel U and Flava TV, the very channels that inspired him to start rapping in the first place.

New single ‘Oi Oi’ is his defining statement, everything he’s wanted to say rolled into three and a half glorious minutes. His proudest moments so far are having his music played on Soccer AM and being mentioned in the QPR programme. With new single ‘Oi Oi’, all that’s about to change.

Pop Scoop! nabbed “poet of the streets” Franko Fraize for a chinwag after his set at Sundown Festival.
