Years & Years are to visit HMV, 363 Oxford Street, on Thursday 9th July to perform live and sign copies of their début album ‘Communion’. Fans will watch a live performance from 11:15pm, which will be followed by a midnight album signing.

London based electro-pop trio Years & Years release their eagerly anticipated début album ‘Communion’, which includes the number 1 single ‘King’. The BBC Sound of 2015 award recipients layer sweetly smooth vocals over bright and heady beats to create what they call “music you can dance and cry to.” Bassist Mikey Goldsworthy, keyboard player Emre Turkmen, and vocalist Olly Alexander have spent the last few years charming audiences worldwide by merging R&B, deep house, and classic-pop with both elegance and abandon.

Excitingly, from 10 July the weekly release day for new music in the UK will change from Mondays to Fridays in line with moves to create a single, harmonised global release day worldwide.  Years and Years will be among the very first artists to launch New Music Fridays here in the UK and simultaneously around the world in 45 international territories, which also means their début ‘Communion’ has every chance of becoming the first full-week UK Official Chart No.1 album of this New Music Friday era.
