Following her brilliant performance on Britains Got Talent of her new single, Alesha Dixon has just announced she will very special guest at Pharrell Williams’ show this Friday June 15th at Leeds Arena. Tickets for the gig can be bought here.
‘The Way We Are’ will be released independently, on her own label, and sees her returning to her musical roots. Set free from the constraints of making an album that she was expected to make, the new music encompasses the spirit of her Mis-Teeq days with a completely modern makeover.
Alesha says, “I’m so excited to announce my new single! I’m bringing it back to my first love, the music! Doing it independently this time feels great, I love being the boss and taking the reigns creatively. The message in this track is special to me because it’s about being comfortable in your own skin, having confidence in yourself, ‘The Way We Are’, which at the end of the day is what matters.”
