Former X-Factor contestant Lucy Spraggan visits HMV to perform live and sign copies of her new album ‘We Are’ on Tuesday 5th May – 5:00pm – HMV Birmingham and Friday 6th May – 6:00pm – HMV363 Oxford Street, London.
Recorded in London, ‘We Are’ features 12 tracks that are a collection of sincere ballads and inspiring folk-tinged pop songs told in Lucy’s direct storytelling style about every day life.
Lucy says, “I’m very much looking forward to releasing ‘We Are’ under my own steam. The album is basically a diary of the ups and downs of the last few years’ appearing on The X Factor, moving to London, working hard and changing as a person. In some ways writing this record has been a bit of documentation for me and some of the songs are pretty revealing but I’m looking forward to sharing them.”
Lucy hits the road in May for an extensive UK tour beginning at Belfast’s Limelight 2 on 1st and ending at Sheffield’s Leadmill on 23rd.
