International star Cody Simpson is heading back to the UK this spring. The 18-year-old-singer/songwriter has announces three highly anticipated shows. Tickets will be on sale Wednesday 4 March from www.aeglive.co.uk.
Australian born Cody will be performing songs with his band off of his new album, Free, which opens the first page of his biggest chapter yet. “To me, this feels like the first project I’ve ever put out. I want the music to speak for itself. This is meant to allow listeners to feel timeless, happy, and free. The world needs live music back.”

Live dates include:
Wednesday, 6 May – London, O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire
Thursday, 7 May – Birmingham Institute
Friday 8 May – Manchester Ritz

Cody has enjoyed quite the impressive career. His 2013 album Surfer’s Paradise featured collaborations with Ziggy Marley and Asher Roth and landed in the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200. He toured Europe and the US as direct support for Justin Bieber on the Believe tour only to return in 2014 to his own sold out Acoustic Sessions Tour. After recently parting from his record label of nearly 5 years, Simpson has struck out on his own to create his imprint Coast House with partner Cisco Adler’s Banana Beat Records.

The two co-wrote Cody’s upcoming third full length album Free together. The first offering from Free is a Jack Johnson inspired song called Flower. The video features Simpson’s girlfriend and fashion “it girl” Gigi Hadid. The artwork for the first single was notably designed by friend and creative collaborator Miley Cyrus, who is quoted on RollingStone.com as saying “”He’s a super cool guy and an epic guitar player and singer”.

With 7.3 million Twitter followers, 8.1 million Facebook likes and millions of YouTube views, Cody Simpson is a true international star. This is a show not to be missed.
