The Vamps have announced they are launching their own record label, a joint venture with EMI/Universal and have made their first signing in the form of US band ‘The Tide’.

The Vamps will be responsible for A&R – discovering and developing new talent, signing them, and working closely with the artist to write and produce their music and will be taking their acts on tour and supporting them in social media.

The Vamps have confirmed their first signing to the label (the name of which is yet to be announced) is American teen guitar band ‘The Tide’. The Tide are aged between 17 and 18 years old and are based in Los Angeles.  The Tide will support the Vamps on their upcoming arena tour, which kicks off in April, along with Union J and Madison Beer.  See the Tide at

They made the announcement on Twitter earlier today (26 February).

The label announcement comes ahead of the band’s 17 date arena tour, which takes place over 5 countries, and includes two sold out London O2 Arena shows (the first sold out in 45 minutes). The additional European dates take place in Amsterdam and Milan, with more to be announced this weekend, and tickets are on sale from Friday 6th March.

The Vamps are also announcing the world’s longest sound check parties. The record breaking events will be around 90mins and include sound checks by The Vamps, Union J and The Tide. These will be an incredible experience for fans to see the bands up close and intimate. For more information, visit www.thevampsvip.com
