Nickelodeon has announced the international nominations for the Kids’ Choice Awards 2015. This year’s new nominees include Iggy Azalea, Sam Smith, Angelina Jolie, 5 Seconds of Summer, Channing Tatum, Meryl Streep, Meghan Trainor and Chris Pratt.

Superstar nominees Beyoncé, Cameron Diaz, Jamie Foxx, Ariana Grande, Hugh Jackman, Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj, Ben Stiller, One Direction, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Garner, Maroon 5, Scarlett Johansson have also made the shortlist. Multi-talented singer/songwriter and actor Nick Jonas will host the celebration live on Saturday, 28th March from The “Fabulous” Forum in Inglewood, California.

UK audiences can watch the 2015 Kids’ Choice Awards on Nickelodeon on Sunday, 29th March from 5:00pm and on Channel 5 on Sunday, 5th April.

Kids can now cast their votes across the seven already announced UK categories and the 21 international categories, including new additions: Favourite Talent Competition Show, Favourite Family TV Show, Most Addicting Game and Favourite New Artist, across all of Nickelodeon’s digital platforms including kca.nick.co.uk/vote, on The Nick App and via Twitter using the hashtag #KCA. Furthermore, fans can join in on the slime-fest by going to kca.nick.co.uk the official destination for everything Kids’ Choice Awards featuring news, hilarious videos, quizzes, photo galleries and weekly polls.

Superheroes dominated the movie categories this year with The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and X-Men: Days of Future Past going head-to-head with five nominations each. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 webbed noms for Favourite Movie, Emma Stone for Favourite Movie Actress, Andrew Garfield for Favourite Male Action Star and Jamie Foxx for Favourite Villain and Favourite Movie Actor. X-Men: Days of Future Past garnered nominations for Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry and Ellen Page who will battle it out for Favourite Female Action Star and Hugh Jackman for Favourite Movie Actor and Favourite Male Action Star. Receiving four nominations are Guardians of the Galaxy, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 and Maleficent whose star, Angelina Jolie, earned two nominations for Favourite Movie Actress and Favourite Villain.

In the music categories, Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea both scored three nominations. Taylor Swift will go up against Ariana Grande for Favourite Female Singer, while Iggy Azalea and Meghan Trainor duel for Favourite New Artist. Favourite Male Singer Justin Timberlake returns to defend his title against Sam Smith, Pharrell Williams, Nick Jonas, Blake Shelton and Bruno Mars.
The 2015 Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards will roll out across the globe within hours of airing live in the United States, Canada and Australia, giving kids around the world the opportunity to tune into their local Nickelodeon channel to enjoy the show. Voting for the 2015 KCAs will span six continents across 19 localized voting sites in addition to Twitter hashtag voting (#KCA) giving kids practically everywhere the chance to decide who takes home a coveted blimp.
