The Vamps have announced the details the fans have been eagerly awaiting – their debut album will hit shelves on Monday April 14th. Within minutes of Meet The Vamps being announced, the pre-order for the deluxe version of the album reached number 2 on the iTunes album chart.

Meet The Vamps will be preceded the week before by single Last Night, which is already flying high on the airplay charts and has picked up over 20,000 pre-orders. The Vamps, last week, announced that they will play an exclusive single launch party at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust, tickets can be applied for here!

The Vamps have been causing a stir up and down the country, since the release of their debut single Can We Dance, which was released in September 2013 and hit number 2 on the Official Singles Chart. Follow up single Wild Heart stormed the charts in January, charting at number 3. The Vamps have picked up a phenomenal following online. Can We Dance has clocked up over 12 million YouTube views, Wild Heart has over 6 million, new single Last Night has had over 2.2 million views, and their channel has already tipped 38 million total views and signed up over ½ million subscribers, which is quite an astounding achievement for a new band. They frequently trend around the world on Twitter, and their Facebook has almost 1 million likes.

The Vamps have also recently announced their first headline tour, which kicks off in September. Tickets go on sale on Saturday 26th April at 10am at www.aeglive.co.uk. A phenomenal live band with an electrifying set, the summer will see The Vamps playing a raft of festivals including British Summer Time at Hyde Park, UK Live in Sunderland, Ipswich and Weston-super-Mare and Isle of Wight Festival.

The teenage four-piece comprised of singer Bradley Will Simpson, guitarist James McVey, drummer Tristan Evans and bassist Connor Ball, have recently been on tour as main support to Taylor Swift and are currently on tour with The Wanted. Last month, they played their first headline show in the USA – headlining New York’s Gramercy which sold out in under 10minutes. The Vamps have similarly caused a rush in Paris, Italy and Germany on their first visits there, and have started picking up number 1’s across the globe including as far as Cambodia!
