One Direction are set to perform for the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh at this year’s Royal Variety Performance.

The boy band are joining popstars Girls Aloud, Robbie Williams, Alicia Keys, Kylie Minogue, Rod Stewart and Neil Diamond in the line up.

This event, being the 100th Royal Variety Performance, will top off an amazing 2012 for  Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik .

The boys will perform their new single ‘Little Things’, which was penned by Ed Sheeran.

Comedian David Walliams is hosting the event, taking place at the Royal Albert Hall in London on 19 November and will be shown on TV in December.

Money raised at the charity event goes to the Artistes’ Benevolent Fund.
